How did Aroostook County Crime Stoppers get started?
Aroostook County Crime Stoppers is modeled after many other
successful Crime Stoppers programs across the country it was
formed with the help of the Aroostook County Sheriff’s
Department, local police departments, the Maine State Police and
volunteers from the community.
Our goal is to increase the effectiveness of law
enforcement agencies in fighting and preventing crimes in Aroostook
County.
